RocketRX requires both a valid government-issued photo ID and a current verification selfie to verify a patient's identity. Identity verification helps RocketRX protect sensitive health information and confirm that prescription treatment is being provided to the correct individual.
RocketRX uses a two-step identity verification process:
Submit a clear photo of a valid, government-issued photo ID.
Submit a current verification selfie showing your face clearly.
Both the government-issued ID and verification selfie are required to complete identity verification.
How to Submit Your Government-Issued ID and Selfie
You can submit your government-issued ID photo and verification selfie through any of the following three channels:
Email: Attach your photos to an email and send them to care@rocketrx.com. If you are replying to an existing identity verification email from RocketRX, you can attach your photos directly to that reply.
SMS/Text: Attach your photos to a text message and send them to 855-705-2052.
Live Chat: Upload your photos through Live Chat. You will be connected with a live representative who can assist you with your identity verification submission.
To help the RocketRX team match your submission to your account as quickly as possible, include your order number when submitting your photos by email or SMS if you have it available.
RocketRX matches submissions to your account using the email address or phone number you send the photos from. Including your order number can help speed up the process, but an order number is not required.
Government-Issued Photo ID Requirements
Submit a clear image of a valid, government-issued photo ID, such as a driver's license or passport.
Before submitting your government-issued ID photo, make sure it meets all of the following requirements:
Clarity: The ID photo must be bright, clear, and easy to read. Do not submit a dark or blurry image.
Visibility: All four corners of the ID must be fully visible in the photo.
Unobstructed: Nothing may cover any part of the ID, including the text or photo.
Not expired: The government-issued ID must be current. Expired IDs cannot be accepted.
Matching name: The name on the government-issued ID must match the name on your RocketRX account.
Submitting your government-issued ID does not complete identity verification by itself. You must also submit a verification selfie that meets the requirements below.
Verification Selfie Requirements
RocketRX requires a current verification selfie to confirm that the person requesting treatment matches the government-issued ID provided.
Before submitting your verification selfie, make sure it meets all of the following requirements:
Face visibility: Your entire face must be clearly visible.
Lighting: Take the selfie in a well-lit area so the image is not dark or grainy.
One person only: You must be the only person visible in the selfie.
Authentic photo: The selfie must be a real, current photo of you. AI-generated photos are not accepted.
No alterations: Do not submit a photo that has been digitally altered or edited in a way that changes your appearance.
No heavy filters: Heavily filtered photos are not accepted.
Your verification selfie should clearly show your natural appearance so the RocketRX team can compare the selfie with the photo on your government-issued ID.
Tips for a Successful Submission
Clean your lens: Wipe your camera lens before taking your photos to help prevent blurry images.
Use natural light: Take your photos near a window during the day when possible for better clarity.
Keep the camera stable: If you are using a smartphone, hold it steady or prop it against a solid surface to reduce camera shake.
Check both photos before sending: Confirm that your government-issued ID is fully visible and readable and that your verification selfie clearly shows your face with no other people in the photo.
Why Identity Verification Is Required
Confirming your identity is an important safety and security measure. Identity verification allows RocketRX to protect your sensitive health information and helps ensure that prescription treatments are provided safely and securely to the correct individual.
To complete RocketRX identity verification, you must submit both a valid government-issued photo ID and an acceptable verification selfie.
